Description Lastique 2020-11-12 14:43:36 UTC
SUMMARY

Update interval of the Network Monitor widget cannot be changed in the settings.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Add a Network Monitor widget on the panel.
2. Go to the widget settings.
3. In the Interfaces tab, try changing the Update interval value.

OBSERVED RESULT

The value cannot be changed by using the spin arrows, it always stays at "0 seconds". If I type a different value on keyboard, it resets to "0 seconds".

EXPECTED RESULT

The value should be adjustable. And "0 seconds" should not be a valid value. I would suggest using millisecond units instead of seconds as well, so that sub-second intervals are allowed.

As with Bug 429017 can you pleas provide the info as this isn't a stock widget.
Comment 2 Lastique 2020-11-13 08:12:52 UTC
As replied in that bug, this is a standard widget that is shipped with KDE. It is not installed from elsewhere (it has no trash bin icon).
Comment 3 Nate Graham 2020-11-13 18:51:02 UTC
Justin, this is indeed a standard, shipped-by-defaut widget.

Can reproduce.
Comment 4 Nate Graham 2025-10-17 18:57:16 UTC
Update intervals are configurable now.
