SUMMARY Implement possibility to export faces thumbnails (not the related images) when exporting to local media. Will allow to create a visual timeline of people's faces. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Select "Tags" on the left 2. Select "Export" on the top 3. On "Target File behavior" I propose: 3.1 Adding "Export faces thumbnail (not related images)" 3.2 Thumbnail file names would be the same as related images (may be with added "THUMB" prefix) to disambiguate and allow for same sorting/filtering 3.3 Format JPG (PGF is not easy to handle in Windows) 3.3 Possibly copy tags and other metadata to the thumbnail image files OBSERVED RESULT Not possible to export face thumbnails without SQLLite knowledge EXPECTED RESULT Possibility to choose exporting thumbs rather than related images SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Windows 10 10.0.19041 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: 5.73.0 Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Plus One, just submitted this as well.

Is there any progress on this? Would be nice to have this implemented.
Plus one! Being able to select a set of thumbnails shown in the People section, or even a set of people, and then have the program export the face thumbnails in jpg or png format, would be great – users could then take the exported thumbnails and use them with the Image Mosaic Wall feature to create a mosaic.
