Sometimes when I open two files from the same dir,
they show up as they are in two separate trees.

Screenshot attached.

I've tested this on kate from git master but I'm unable to reproduce the issue.

Is there anything in particular you're doing when this happens or for any particular files/filetypes?
Comment 2 Matteo Croce 2020-11-10 00:12:13 UTC
It's pretty random. I did this:

- open file dir1/file1.txt
- open dialog, browse dir2 and open two files
I get dir2/file2 and dir2/file2 as separate trees
