Description Martin Seidel 2020-11-08 19:31:48 UTC
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open system settings -> display settings
2. menu items overlap, maybe because the font is too big (on external full HD monitor).

If I open system-settings on the internal display of the laptop (also full HD, but - of course - lower DPI) everything is fine, but it also takes about 2 minutes until it opens the dialog.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.71.0
Qt Version: 5.12.7

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

DELL Latitude 5270 with external full HD display

I changed many things in the appearance, now that doesn't occour anymore.
But it still takes more than one minute to open the display dialog.

Maybe the problems are more distro-related?

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Plasma 5.25 or 5.26?

If it is, please change the status to CONFIRMED when replying. If not, or if you can't because you no longer use this setup, you can change the status to RESOLVED WORKSFORME. Thanks a lot!
