SUMMARY The pen pressure will not work on krita BUT will work for other applications making it seem as though it is a bug within the program itself. I have also tried to turn on and off the pen pressure settings within krita with no results. I'm not sure if its because krita is incompatible with what I'm using. I'm using the "HP ENVY x360" laptop with a "Wacom Bamboo Ink 2nd Gen Smart Stylus" OBSERVED RESULT pen will successfully apply pen pressure in other programs but fail to do so in krita EXPECTED RESULT pen and or laptop is incompatible with krita SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I'm using a touchscreen laptop with a smart pen add-on and not a plug in tablet like most people.
This is probably a mismatch between the stylus config/settings in its driver and the config/settings in krita. Please go to https://krita-artists.org/ and start a new topic in the Support and Advice - Input Device Support category. That forum is a very suitable place for help and advice for this type of problem, especially when it comes to showing the resuts of various tests and config changes.
Created attachment 133166 [details] attachment-29849-0.html You were right! Thank you. I was able to fix it by going to settings, configure krita, and tablet settings. I had to change the tablet input API to windows ink. Thank you again! :) On Mon, Nov 9, 2020, 6:23 AM Ahab Greybeard <bugzilla_noreply@kde.org> wrote: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=428816 > > Ahab Greybeard <ahab.greybeard@hotmail.co.uk> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > CC| > |ahab.greybeard@hotmail.co.u > | |k > > --- Comment #1 from Ahab Greybeard <ahab.greybeard@hotmail.co.uk> --- > This is probably a mismatch between the stylus config/settings in its > driver > and the config/settings in krita. > > Please go to https://krita-artists.org/ and start a new topic in the > Support > and Advice - Input Device Support category. > > That forum is a very suitable place for help and advice for this type of > problem, especially when it comes to showing the resuts of various tests > and > config changes. > > -- > You are receiving this mail because: > You reported the bug.
