Everything from git master today.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Pit an image file on the desktop
2. go to imgur.com in Firefox
3. Drag the file to the Firefox window


OBSERVED RESULT
The cursor is stuck as a grabby hand when it passes over the desktop. It's fine when it passes over Firefox, any other app, or the Plasma panel.


EXPECTED RESULT
It becomes a regular pointer cursor when passing over the desktop.

Is this after dropping the image onto the imgur page and letting it upload?

Confirmed. It is most likely bug 400014.
