The last time I reported this I was told to upgrade to the latest version of Kubuntu. I have been using Linux for many years and all software needs a password to install. Is this a security risk? Did Linux Ubuntu Kubuntu change their policies? We are living in strange times and I need to know if my operating system is secure.
What type of updates, are they snap, flatpak, system, addons?
