Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information as soon as possible and set the bug status as REPORTED. Due to regular bug tracker maintenance, if the bug is still in NEEDSINFO status with no change in 30 days the bug will be closed as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME due to lack of needed information. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!
Dear Developer, I already have provided required information in the form of screenshots. For your information, I have reported this bug without any consideration, informing about product bugs is not my responsibility. If you understand the issue then please solve it or if not then leave that bug as it is. People can choose any other software.
Thank you for replay. Some additional questions: - Which Windows version do you use (on Win7 64bit it seems to work correctly)? - How the HDD D is connected? Like the SSD? - Do you see HDD in the normal Windows explorer? Press Win+e and upload a screenshot.
Yes thanks for your report and reply! you received the message because with your first answer the status of the bug was not changed from NEEDSINFO back to CONFIRMED or something similar. In this case the system sends out these automated messages after some time. Kdenlive is an open-source project with a small developer team of 1-2 active devs spending their spare time and we are not able to fix everything we want as fast as we want. At least we are not aware of all bugs and we need reports like yours to make Kdenlive better. If you look at kdenlive this way it IS the communities responsibility to report bugs, but of course you are free to decide if you want to use kdenlive (and make it better) or any other software.
Created attachment 136994 [details] Screenshots of OS-kdenlive version, problem screnshot, drive structure Thank you for replay. Some additional questions: - Which Windows version do you use (on Win7 64bit it seems to work correctly)? - How the HDD D is connected? Like the SSD? - Do you see HDD in the normal Windows explorer? Press Win+e and upload a screenshot. Answer(s): 1. Using Windows 10 (Check attachment for DxDiag screenshot) 2. HDD D:/ connected just like SSD. (Check attachment for disc management information) 3. I can seen HDD D:/ normally. (Check in the attachment) I have also shared application version and problem screenshot along with above screenshots.
Just to make it really clear: it is only a problem with the import dialog not with the open / save project dialog, right?
This problem is import dialogue only. Not at any other place.
@Julius Could that be a Framework issue in conjunction with a driver issue on Win10?
I don't know if it is a driver thing, but it is likely that it is a Frameworks issue, because it is the only file dialog in kdenlive that uses KFileWidget instead of QFileDialog. I think we should report it on the frameworks-kio bug tracker
