SUMMARY
We cannot save the menu

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. modify the menu of KDE
2. try to save

I can't replicate this on KDE Neon Unstable.

I opened and edited an existing menu item and saved, no crash.

Can you please upload a crash report via DrKonqi when it happens?

it was necessary to wait more than 40 seconds and now it works immediately.
