OBSERVED RESULT some thumbnails and pictures do not show. Activate the debug output by setting an environment variable in the Windows environment editor. Variable: QT_LOGGING_RULES Value: digikam.*=true Download DebugView from Microsoft and run it. Start digiKam and upload the messages from DebugView here. Maik
There could be a similar problem here. Are the thumbnails displayed when you rebuild the thumbnails with F5? Maik
Please upload an image whose thumbnail is not created. Will the preview of the image open? Maik
Without further information, a test image or the desired log from comment 2, we cannot help. The problem cannot be reproduced and has not been reported by other users. Otherwise I will close the bug report. Maik
