SUMMARY There is an error in Kdenlive on Windows when adjusting the Frame Size! STEPS TO REPRODUCE By adjusting the dimensions of the video in: Settings > Configure Kdenlive > Project Defaults. When the Frame Size changes we cannot see the change in real time, it is necessary to restart the computer to be able to see an adjustment on the project monitor! OBSERVED RESULT When adjusting the dimensions of the video in: Settings> Configure Kdenlive> Projects Defaults. EXPECTED RESULT The project monitor or the clip monitor should automatically adjust when we change the frame size, and I also think that the frame size should be easily editable (already reporting a new tip). I think we correct this issue some days ago. Please try with the daily build to see if it's fixed: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_mingw64/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/

Is it fixed for you? If so it will come with 20.08.3 or 20.12.0.
I had to recreate the video I was working on. Download the new stable version 20.08.2 (in it, when I create a video clip, the background does not appear). Dude what problem did you see ?!
Can you please update to the latest version (20.12.3 at the moment, https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) and report here whether this is still happening?
