SUMMARY Google Calendar synchronization setup is broken. Impossible to add new calendar neither using Google Groupware form nor using link to remote *.ics file. UI is not responding in both cases. Operating System: KDE neon 5.20 KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.75.0 Qt Version: 5.15.0 Kernel Version: 5.4.0-52-generic OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz Memory: 15,5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics 620
I can't reproduce this, using KDE Neon -- I added a calendar, using the "Add calendar..." wizard accessible from the sidebar. If you run korganizer from a command line, does it print any error messages? Perhaps the troubleshooting hints at https://kb.kolabenterprise.com/documentation/kontact-troubleshooting can help you.
We have the same problem on PCs with the latest stable KDE Neon up-to-date as of five minutes ago (the KDE people will know the versions) as well as some earlier recent versions. We try to open a Google calendar and nothing happens--no login page appears as should.
When I run korganizer in an xterm and try to add Google calendar, I get this error: $ qt.qpa.xcb: QXcbConnection: XCB error: 3 (BadWindow), sequence: 1763, resource id: 15691491, major code: 40 (TranslateCoords), minor code: 0. So despite it not happening for some people, SOMETHING HAS GONE WRONG!
Created attachment 162020 [details] google error I also can't sync with the google calendar.
