Description PangolinM 2020-10-27 00:51:38 UTC
SUMMARY
When exporting layer styles, color data including those in Stroke and Color Overlay are not retained on importing.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a layer style where color fills/overlays are an option.
2. Export the layer style and change the color.
3. Import the previous settings.

OBSERVED RESULT
The colors are not reverted to those present in the settings when the layer styles were exported.

EXPECTED RESULT
Layer style export/import should include the color of fills and overlays.

KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0
Qt Version: 5.12.8
Comment 1 PangolinM 2020-10-27 17:02:23 UTC
Additional: I've discovered that it will load the colors but only after you click on the entry just loaded if you go to the "styles" submenu of the layer styles menu. Which means it does save, but if you simply "import" it, it doesn't *fully* import it.
I know the following is a separate issue, but I'm surprised that there's a text box that has a lot of room for all the styles you've imported but it only shows the one you select from the combobox? And then you have to click on it after selecting the same thing from the combo box. It seems unfinished.

Regarding the combobox-textbox issue you mentioned, it's actually intended because ASL files can contain more than one layer style. You first select the file you want to get the layer style from, and then you select which layer style from that file you want to use. It doesn't look so well when the ASL files has only one layer style per file though, yes.

On Krita 4.4.1, it does work for me. Note that I cannot just Import the settings but go to Styles and select it. Then the color is reverted.

Does it work the same way for you too, @PangolinM?
