Description postix 2020-10-26 17:47:52 UTC
SUMMARY

I created a new profile with the following settings:

1920x1200
Relative resolution 16:9

where the relative resolution was set automatically. When I tried to correct the relative resolution to 16:10 and clicked on "save", the field was reset to 16:9.

What I do not understand either is, why there's such a field anyway when Kdenlive could calculate the relative resolution itself?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a new custom profile with
 1920x1200
 16:9
2. Save the profile
3. Change the relative resolution
4. Save it

OBSERVED RESULT
Reset to 16:9

EXPECTED RESULT
16:10 kept

I can confirm this behavior.

Kdenlive does not calculate the ratio automatically. The problem is that the profile is saved, but the displayed values are not properly refresh (this is for all properties, not only for the display aspect ratio). Working on a fix…
