Screenshot of KolourPaint keyboard shortcuts, default settings

The "Fundamentals" handbook says one can toggle the Menu Bar on and off by pressing Ctrl+M. This won't work in KolourPaint, because Ctrl+M has been assigned as a local shortcut.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start KolourPaint
2. Press Ctrl+M

OBSERVED RESULT
Opens the "More Image Effects" dialog box.

EXPECTED RESULT
Toggle the Menu Bar on and off.

Ctrl+M should toggle the Menu Bar always and everywhere.
