I have the reverse, if Dolphin is on my left or middle monitor the context menu appears on the right. Confirmed on: Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.76.0 Qt Version: 5.15.0
Are you on Wayland or X11?
X11
X11 here as well.
I've set my left monitor as primary, and this doesn't happen every single time but happens sometimes. It doesn't occur if I placed the window on the primary (left) monitor but happens when the window is partially or completely on the secondary (right) monitor.
Wasn't this a Qt 5.15.0 regression? Please test with 5.15.1 or 5.15.2.
My issue was fixed sometime last week while I was playing around with theming. It didn't make sense to me for that to be fixed by a different theme, but I wasn't going to complain. As it turns out, KDE Neon updated me to Qt 5.15.1 while I was installing themes and plugins, so Christoph is correct.
I found this from the KDE Neon team on Twitter from November 11th: "In tonight's mega update we bring you Qt 5.15.1, Releases 20.08.3 and Plasma 5.20.3. It's bugfixes all around!"
There ya go. :)
