Kdenlive crashes whenever creating a new project, unless the project is created on top of a project already open. Then it works fine. Please try these steps: https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual/Windows_Issues#Cannot_open_projects_made_with_previous_version.2C_timeline_snaps_back.2C_cannot_import_clip. If it doesn't solve the issue let me know the steps you do for the crash.

Click on Help -> reset configuration. Try again.
It still crashes.

The audioclientcore.cpp error could be a microphone or webcam restriction in Kaspersky antivirus or other antivirus programs. Please check your antivirus settings. Do you are on windows 8?
I'm on Windows 10.
Also, I don't have Kaspersky or any other antivirus programs, just Windows Security.
Can you start Kdenlive? If so -> CTRL+Shift+, (coma) -> Playback -> Audio driver -> try Wasapi or DirectSound (or WINMM for Win7).
I can start it, and edit settings, but it crashes as soon as I create a new project. Changing to Directsound or Wasapi didn't help.
But with WinMM, it doesn't crash anymore!
Interesting. Adding clip to the timeline and playback is still fluent when you set to WinMM? What CPU and sound card/processor do you have?
Can you please provide the information requested above? Please test also if this still occurs with the latest version (20.12.3 at the moment, https://kdenlive.org/en/download/)
