SUMMARY Browsing the menu, actual entries are not refreshed. The first submenu shown is always shown. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open application menu 2. Hover one menu entry (observe the displayed submenu) 3. Hover another menu entry OBSERVED RESULT After step 3, the initial submenu is still shown. Move the mouse as many times as you want, the initial menu will be retained apparently forever. Closing the application menu resets the behavior. Wayland only. I don;t think this is a duplicate. This is not about the global menu. this is about the application menu. You know, the one you add to a panel, like a "Start" button on (pardon the expression) Windows.
Oops, my mistake.
Cannot reproduce on my git master Plasma Wayland session. The hover menu always updates correctly. Can you check again in Plasma 5.21, or even with Arch's unstable KDE packages? Thanks!
Still there in 5.21.3. Unfortunately I can't take screenshots, the menu goes away when I try to take it. And screen recording doesn't work. Just to be clear, this is about the Application Menu, not the default Application Launcher.

Thanks. Strange that it works for me.
I can't reproduce this anymore on the latest version of Plasma.
Cool. :)
Works now with 5.23. No idea when exactly it was fixed.
