That's probably because you have a RTL system.

Ah, it needs fixed in the code. RTL means, using a Right-To-Left writing system.

Hi there Edan, I just tested on our master branch and wasn't able to reproduce this issue, so it's possible that one of our unreleased changes has solved this problem.

You might be able to test this for yourself by downloading our "Krita Next" nightly build or building Krita from source code. Otherwise please let us know if these changes aren't resolved when Krita 5.0 releases.
