SUMMARY Crash when starting to drag a file from dolphin to kdenlive STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Try dragging a file from dolphin to kdenlive 2. First attempt fails (appears to trigger a drag in kdenlive itself instead [of clips already there]) 3. Try dragging the file again from dolphin (only drag and moving the mouse) OBSERVED RESULT Kwin_Wayland crashes and I land on the login page EXPECTED RESULT Drag and Drop should work SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: master (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: master KDE Frameworks Version: master Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Seems to me the first drag is the issue that confuses xwayland and wayland completely and leads to the crash as sometimes dragging and dropping works fine on the first try. Only when kdenlive gets into drag mode and thinking I am dragging some clip from it it freaks out.
Can confirm.
