SUMMARY
Trying to set a .png as a user's profile picture fails with message "There was an error while saving changes"

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. try to set a png as a user's pfp
2. 
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
PNGs cause the KCM to fail changing the pfp, JPGs work perfectly fine tho

EXPECTED RESULT
PNGs should work just as well as JPGs

update on this: turns out the issue wasn't related to PNGs, but rather all my PNGs being >1MB and all my JPGs <1MB, which made it seem like PNGs were the problem. Still, not being able to use files over 1MB seems like a massive flaw that should really be fixed.
