SUMMARY
The attached screenshot was taken after I delete source code of Breeze from my Home by pressing shift+del. This is an old bug on my systems (Arch and neon unstable) and occurs randomly, I can't reproduce consistently.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. git clone source code of breeze
2. delete Breeze folder with Dolphin by pressing shift+del
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
sometimes the result shown in the attached screenshot occurs

EXPECTED RESULT
badge should never get stuck to task manager

I periodically get this too.
