Even though we have the screenshot thumbnail for each SDDM theme, it would be handy to have a test button in KCM to run the command:
$ sddm-greeter --test-mode --theme /usr/share/sddm/themes/breeze/

This concept already exists for the Plasma Splashscreens.

I agree. It will probably have to wait for the KCM rewrite though.
