SUMMARY I have several albums from Dream Theater on my hard drive and made Elisa point to the folder containing them. After scanning the folder, if I use the Album or Artist sorting of the songs and select the albums, some songs do not appear. They still show in the Files browsing through Elisa, however. But if I open through files browsing, it doesn't show the album art or anything, only the files. Now here is an odd behavior. If I select all songs from an album through Dolphin and open them using Elisa, the songs that didn't appear on Album or Artist sorting, appear as if they were opened through files browsing, while the others open as if were through Album or Artist sorting. I came to the conclusion this is an issue with Elisa in specific (or possibly Baloo, although I couldn't prove it through Dolphin), is that this behavior is not observed with Lollypop, another Music Player. On Lollypop, all songs appear as they should if using Albums or Artists sorting. I also checked the files themselves using EasyTAG and they all don't show any metadata difference to possibly cause this behavior. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Scan folders with Elisa 2. Show songs using Album view OR 1. Open songs using Dolphin OBSERVED RESULT Elisa does not fully index song files, making some songs not appear in Album or Artist sorting EXPECTED RESULT All songs should appear, fully indexed SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 20.11.70 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.76.0 Qt Version: 5.15.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Running on openSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE Unstable Repositories

How did you make elisa point to the folder? By adding it as a path in the config window? By using a symlink? By doing something else? And what is the path of the folder?

Created attachment 135927 [details] Missing songs in album view I experience this. Some albums appear empty even though their tracks are known. I have attached a screen recording that shows the issue. Elisa: 20.12.2 KDE Frameworks 5.78.0 Qt 5.15.2
Baloo indexing is enabled without content scanning Elisa is pointed to my Music folder: /home/user/Música Force filesystem indexing is disabled The path to the song is: /home/user/Música/The Hu Band - Wolf Totem.mp3

Created attachment 136101 [details] artist won't play but album inside artist list will Here is another interesting case. Clicking play from the artist list won't work, it won't enqueue any valid song in the playlist. However, an album does appear inside the artist entry and, clicking play on the album icon does enqueue and play the album songs.
This happens with Fast indexer alone. When scanning Filesystem directly no music files are missed.
