Description Markus Elfring 2020-10-12 15:40:14 UTC
Sent messages can contain the header field “Message-ID”.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Message-ID

I would occasionally like to copy such message identifications (to the clipboard and related targets).

kmail->message->view source
=> copy it no ?
Comment 2 Markus Elfring 2020-10-13 10:07:15 UTC
(In reply to Laurent Montel from comment #1)
It is possible to copy selected information from the message code view.
I would prefer a more direct access to message identifications.
Comment 3 Laurent Montel 2020-10-14 06:22:30 UTC
This feature is too specific for adding it (I don't want to complexity kmail with this feature as there is another way to copy it and it's a expert feature).

Regards

I hope that also advanced users (and “experts”) can get easier access to specific information from the email message header.
Can any other contributors convince you to help a bit more with improvements for the affected software functionality?
