When im porting a video with multi-track (here: a video with two audio tracks) audio both of the tracks are imported and are shown individually when dragging the clip to the time line. This works as expected. It is also possible to set individual volume to the tracks via “rightclick -> Insert an effect -> Volume (keyframable)”. This also works as expected. The problem is, when I try to set the audio track’s “master volume” by clicking the imported clip, and switching to the audio tab in the clip’s properties and selecting the audio track in question and then change gain to any value the audio gets heavily distorted. It sounds a bit like extreme volume but clipped to some level. Even when setting the value to 0db again the audio stays distorted. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Import a video with multiple audio tracks 2. Add the clip to the timeline 3. Play around with the gain setting of the clip’s audio track OBSERVED RESULT At some random point the audio gets heavily distorted (or set to an extremely high volume and gets clipped) and stays like that until Kdenlive is restarted and/or the clip is re-imported. EXPECTED RESULT Gain is applied to the track without distorting it.
