SUMMARY Changing "On Login" or "On Attach" for a specific device does not make the "Apply" button available, and changes cannot be saved. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Removable Devices. 2. Make any changes to the checkboxes under the list of "Automatic mount"s. OBSERVED RESULT The "Apply" button is not available. Closing then reopening Removable Devices shows that these changes were not saved. EXPECTED RESULT Making a change for a device should make the "Apply" button available. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: n/a macOS: n/a Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon 5.19 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.72.0 Qt Version: 5.14.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION A workaround to save device-specific changes is to also change one of the other options (eg. uncheck "Enable automatic mounting of removable media") which makes "Apply" available. After clicking "Apply", undo the second change (eg. recheck "Enable automatic mounting of removable media") and "Apply" again. The device-specific changes should now be saved.
Same problem on Arch Linux. KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.76.0 Qt Version: 5.15.1
The same problem occurs on Fedora KDE Plasma Spin as of September 30, 2021. OS: Fedora 34 KDE Plasma Spin KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2
