SUMMARY
I received a Stellar Mate today and tried to connect one of my QHY cameras (e.g. QHY178) Without any success. But a ZWO ASI178 seems to work correctly!

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Ekos
2. Edit my Astro Gear: Choose "QHY CCD" under CCD. Push "Save"
3. Start Ekos: INDI Server Message-KStars: "No QHY cameras detected. Power on?

OBSERVED RESULT
No connection, no other result than error message. Camera is connected and power supply is on!

As with other cameras, status connection and window with exposure opens.
