SUMMARY Powerdevil causes Rocket League (and Plasma) on Steam using Proton 5-0.9 to freeze. You then have to then atl/f2 to restart SDDM. This is on any recent Plasma and on any Distro. (Asus/ nVidia Laptop w/ no other power management installed) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install and play Proton Rocket League on any Plasma Distro. It will freeze around 3 games in. 2. remove PowerDevil / reboot. Doesnt freeze. ever. Can play for days w/ flawless performance. 3. re-Install Powerdevil / reboot. Freezes around 3 games in. I read Steam Devs are aware of issue and said its a kDE Dev. issue. OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: All recent versions.
