Description Nate Graham 2020-10-03 02:48:48 UTC
I have kdeconnect built from source (clean build) on my laptop. When I launch the KDE Connect app on the phone, kdeconnectd on the desktop immediately segfaults:

nate@Liberator:~/kde/src/kdeconnect-kde$  (master) /home/nate/kde/usr/lib64/libexec/kdeconnectd
Connecting to deprecated signal QDBusConnectionInterface::serviceOwnerChanged(QString,QString,QString)
/home/nate/kde/usr/lib64/libexec/kdeconnectd: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/kdeconnect/kdeconnect_runcommand.so: undefined symbol: _ZN22KdeConnectPluginConfig3getERK7QStringRK8QVariant

I am on openSUSE Tumbleweed and have allowed kdeconnect through the firewall per https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:KDE_Connect.

I'll try to bisect.

6cd0a92ca207d5163839fb03e2d9e33a7382ff39 is good

git bisect says this regressed with:

commit 400c800deb6054f4dc445e0c902b71c7e03f434b
Author: Nicolas Fella <nicolas.fella@gmx.de>
Date:   Sun Oct 27 18:08:51 2019 +0100

    [app] Add plugin settings page

It's a pretty huge commit.

Can you please do a clean rebuild? That might be enough
Comment 5 Nate Graham 2020-12-04 01:03:08 UTC
I have stopped experiencing this crash. Assuming it's been fixed.
