Dolphin experiences memory leaks everytime it is launched.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lauch Dolphin
2. Use it for a while
3. Have a look at dolphin memory usage: it's growing and growing
4. Wait a bit more and you get it crashed

OBSERVED RESULT
Kernel message:
Out of memory: Killed process 2921 (dolphin) total-vm:5487616kB, anon-rss:1729388kB, file-rss:0kB, shmem-rss:10644kB, UID:1000 pgtables:9060kB oom_score_adj:0



EXPECTED RESULT
Constant and low memory usage. No memory leak.

Might be a duplicate of bug 398908; closing as such; feel free to reopen if you still see the same issue with KDE Frameworks 5.83 (which has been released today).
