SUMMARY
Looked at bug list: Bug 388314 Status: RESOLVED FIXED.Yet is not fixed for me. Issue happened after fixing other issue: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1166826/how-to-fix-no-backend-found-for-spell-checking-in-kate-editor-settings  Additional info: Software Manager lists Kate version as: Version 4;17.12.3-0ubuntu1 Mint 19.3 Cinnamon 32 Bit. Yet when 
when clicking on Submit Bug Report in Kate, version is 17.12.3

I can't replicate this on kate from git master.

I know 32bit releases of most distros are no longer happening, is your PC 32bit only or can it support a 64bit OS?

Thanks Justin. Sounds like that is the answer, because my other PC's (64 Bit)
do not have that issue.

Sorry Bill I didn't mean to say it was caused by 32bit but that Mint's last 32bit release was 19.3 as you have installed.

There are other 32bit operating systems still being released but Mint has stopped at 19.3. They should of course still get bugfixes for it though.
