SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open a pdf file with okular
2. show the navigation panel (go to "settings" then F7

OBSERVED RESULT

Neither icons nor a description shows up on the side panel for navigation panel. I'm using Zorin OS 15.3

You can see that there are no icons showing up on the left side where my mouse cursor is pointed.

Probably doesn't have a QPA for desktop theme integration.

Please ask in users forums how to configure Qt icon themes via qt5ct.

Unless Okular developers want to workaround this, I suggest to resolve as a downstream issue.

Yeah honestly seems like a packaging issue.

Yeah, it's definitely a packaging issue, or an issue with the icon theme not having the right icons in it, and not falling back to breeze, or not having the right QPA installed. Also, this sidebar has been removed in Okular 1.11 and replaces with a tabbed sidebar instead, so there really is nothing we can do about it. :)
