Description Patrick 2020-09-25 12:18:01 UTC
SUMMARY
A maildir account with a path ending with a slash causes the auto sync to fail. Manual syncing does work correctly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a maildir account using an existing maildir (e.g. a postfix maildir) and make sure the path ends with a slash.
2. Send a mail to the existing maildir.

OBSERVED RESULT
Akonadi console browser doesn't show any changes to the mailbox.

EXPECTED RESULT
Akonadi console browser should show a new mail.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.8.10-arch1-1
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.74.0
Qt Version: 5.15.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
When enabled, the the Akonadi console debugger will show an invalid path under "collections". It also shows that the maildir resource returns an error (code 1, 0 collections found).
