SUMMARY KGet works as an excellent download manager and I use it on the daily. However there is one area where it struggles - torrents. There is a supposed bittorrent plugin but it never works and it just downloads the .torrent file directly. However, this could easily be fixed by adding a plugin that integrates KGet with KTorrent. Try to download a torrent through KGet OBSERVED RESULT Just downloads the .torrent file directly EXPECTED RESULT Downloads the file specified in the .torrent file SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.73.0 Qt Version: 5.15.0 Kernel Version: 5.8.6-1-MANJARO OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 12 × Intel® Core™ i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz Memory: 15,6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: GeForce RTX 2060/PCIe/SSE2
