Created attachment 131800 [details] kioexec SUMMARY I used to be able to have linked automatically open in Firefox whenever I clicked on a link in Discord. Now it just downloads them to "~/.cache/kioexec/krun" and does nothing else. Probably a bug introduced in 5.74.0, I suspect... STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Updated to latest Frameworks and Plasma packages. 2. Open Discord and click on a link. Use non-Flatpak Discord. 3. Kioexec notification comes up, but no link opening in web browser. OBSERVED RESULT Link doesn't transfer to web browser. EXPECTED RESULT Link should open in web browser. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.74.0 Qt Version: 5.15.1 Kernel Version: 5.8.10-arch1-1-custom
Non-Flatpak, huh. Works for me with non-Flatpak Discord on openSUSE Tumbleweed with Frameworks 5.74 FWIW.
Curious. Can you try it with Arch Linux?
Do you have a default web browser set? (systemsettings5 -> applications -> default applications).
