Description Alexandre Pereira 2020-09-19 14:20:00 UTC
SUMMARY
Hi,
So this is a weird bug: I have two monitors. If I open firefox wayland on the most left monitor, and always keep it there, it works fine in relation to context menus ( for example the hamburger menu, it pops up nicelly if firefox is kept on the left monitor ).

If I move firefox window to the right monitor, the hamburger menu just doesn't open anymore. Moving firefox back to the left monitor doesnt fix it either, firefox must be closed and reopened again.

Note: left and right monitor are the monitors at the most left and to the right of "the most left".
ex: I added a third monitor that became "the most left". In this setup, firefox must be opened and kept at this new monitor "the most left", and moving firefox to the middle or right monitor makes context menu not work.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start firefox wayland
2. move firefox wayland window to the right of the "most left monitor"
3. try to open context menu ( example: hamburger preferences button )

OBSERVED RESULT

Hamburger preferences button appears clicked ( shaded ) but context menu doesn't appear.

EXPECTED RESULT

Hamburger preferences button appears clicked ( shaded ) and context menu should appear.

I cannot reproduce, can you try to reproduce? If so, can you provide the output of "WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 firefox" when running such a faulty menu display?

Sorry, this bug slipped! This has been fixed long ago!
