Since DigiKam 7 the contents of the sub folder is before the main folder. If I have a view with main folder and sub folder, the contents of the sub folder will be shown before the contents of the main folder. With DigiKam 6.4 it was the other way around. I can change the sort result if I change the "Item sort order" of the folder to "descending". But then are the files at a wrong position.
I don't think there has been a code change here. You have to change the sort order for the grouped (category) entries. Maik

The change came with DigiKam 7.0. Attached is a picture with a Main and Sub Folder and the sort, which I have done. If you have found my mistake, pleas contact me. I want to use DigiKam 7.x and not continue with 6.4.
