Importing the transaction with payee having partial match is not working. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a Payee " TRANSFER CREDIT" -- with leading spaces 2. Import transaction with payee as " TRANSFER CREDIT-SWEEP FROM" OBSERVED RESULT Ledger indicates the payee name as imported EXPECTED RESULT Payee name should be " TRANSFER CREDIT" SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Tried the variants without leading spaces, but no effect.

I'm not sure why this isn't working as expected, but have you tried the last matching option "Match on name listed below"? However, if you do that, just put "TRANSFER CREDIT" without the "*" as the name to match.
