In my memory, kdenlive-19.12 or early kdenlive-20 has the same issue but was resolved soon. And this problem appears again in this 20.08.0 version.
I run Kdenlive on Win7 as well. Could you test with the Windows 20.08.1 standalone version to see if it's happen as well?
I have confirmed that kdenlive-20.08.1 does not have this symptom. Phew... what a relief! Thank you very much.
Thank you for the feedback and contribution. Glad to hear it works. We close this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number.
