I'm afraid you'll need to provide a bit more information than this. Which artifacts? How? Can you provide a screenshot or screen recording? etc. Please fill out the template so we can see exactly how you set things up, what versions of things you're using, etc. Moving to KWin | wayland-generic for now.
Created attachment 131494 [details] quadratical shape in white colour on dark background.
Hmm, that's kind of hard to see. Could you send a picture of the whole screen and not just a part of it? Or a screen recording?
Created attachment 131635 [details] artefact magnified on screen between SDDM and desktop.
How about the whole screen or a screen recording?
Created attachment 131875 [details] video about artefact between SDDM and desktop in plasma-wayland (3.1 MB) You see the artefact at the beginning of the video after SDDM.
Thanks. Do you see the same issue if you use the Breeze SDDM theme? The one you're using is the standard/fallback theme.

I mark this bug as reported, because I provided enough information for the artefact bug: Some Screenshots,a screen recording. But I can add some additional infos about the bug.
The same bug happens in the breeze SDDM theme in Wayland. There are also different variants that are displayed in the phase between SDDM and the KDE Logo phase: White supperposing lines, alphanumerical shapes such as "PME HI2",Pdb425D","WZ tsoranme","90pb93","Pb714","SPb908","O98Pb6",vertically and horizontally aligned.I could also see shapes that reminds me of tubes and screws,a sort of technical drawing. These artefacts appear also on different parts of the screen: Mostly on the right side. But also on the left and in the centre of the screen.Every time only once per boot session.
The visible boot order in Wayland-Session after SDDM is:a blackscreen (here the artefact appears),then comes the KDE Logo Phase, another blackscreen phase, then the Desktop Surface. In normal Plasma-Session: KDE Logo Phase, then a blackscreen, then Desktop Surface. So,a possible solution to consider. Why not run the visible boot process in Wayland like in Plasma-Session: First KDE Logo Phase (that would probably HIDE the artefacts),then a blackscreen and finally the Desktop Surface. What do you think of that idea ?
Since the last update with version 5.21 the bug has disappeared. The boot order in Wayland is now identical to the boot order in Plasma X11.I suggested that in my comment 11 in 2020-11-08 and I'm glad that this was followed. So I change the status from REPORTED to RESOLVED and FIXED.
