Description bvnfuller 2020-09-05 21:48:57 UTC
SUMMARY
After using up-arrow history beginning of previous commands are frozen at beginning of input, and new commands appear after a certain number of characters of these frozen ones. The frozen text at the beginning is not logged as a command when enter is pressed to execute a typed command. After clearing the terminal (ctrl+l or clear) the frozen text disappears but if up is pressed about 3 times it comes back. This problem also existed on tilix and yakuake, so maybe not caused by konsole.

Thanks for the feedback; could you post a link to the bash bug (on the bash ML...etc)? for future reference. Thanks :)
