Description Shane Richards 2020-09-03 19:12:43 UTC
SUMMARY
Konqueror no longer saves changes to sessions

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open and change an old session / create a new session
2. Save a new session or overwrite an existing session, either via the menu or the sessions... dialog
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
When opening the newly saved session, it opens without any changes having been applied. It will open in the same state that the previous session opened. In the case of opening a blank session and applying changes, it will open in the blank state.

EXPECTED RESULT
Konqueror should open the session in the state that it was saved.

Hi @Shane, can you confirm if this is still going on? I'm about to start poking around the session restore code, having run into another bug that has been around for years.

@Raphael
I am still on Plasma 5.27 so I can't comment on version 6 issues, session saving has been working for me.
I forgot about this report, I'll close it.
