SUMMARY I frequently use "Large Icons" effect preference on Task Switcher and at random moments it forgets my "Large Icons" preference and returns to "Breeze" being selected. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Select Large Icons (or maybe some other effect) 2. Use Plasma for a while, maybe reboot or close and open the laptop, a regular daily usage. 3. Alt+Tab OBSERVED RESULT It goes back to "Breeze" effect. EXPECTED RESULT Keep using the selected "Large Icons" effect. Weird, cannot reproduce, and I also use the Large Icons task switcher.
This issue report is quite old. Can you please confirm, that it still persists with KDE 5.23? Nate couldn't reproduce it, and neither can I. If at any chance possible, it would be great if you could try to find a way how to reliably reproduce this issue. If we cannot reproduce it, we will most likely not be able to fix it.
