This may be recently fixed locale-handling bug; for examples see bug 410167 and its duplicates. Does the problem still occur if you switch to American English, for example by executing "LANG=en_us.UTF-8 korganizer" in a terminal window? If that bug is the cause of your problem, the fix was released in KDE Frameworks 5.72.0.
Created attachment 131363 [details] attachment-6869-0.html It's still there despite setting LANG. I first noticed it a couple weeks back and I can't recall any activity of mine that would have caused the change. Previously created appointments (single & continuing) display and act appropriately. ________________________________ From: bugzilla_noreply@kde.org <bugzilla_noreply@kde.org> Sent: Wednesday, September 2, 2020 07:40 To: davebachmann@hotmail.com <davebachmann@hotmail.com> Subject: [kontact] [Bug 426082] Calendar schedules all appointments full day https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426082 gjditchfield@acm.org changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|REPORTED |NEEDSINFO CC| |gjditchfield@acm.org Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO --- Comment #1 from gjditchfield@acm.org --- This may be recently fixed locale-handling bug; for examples see bug 410167 and its duplicates. Dang. For the record, what locale do you normally run in? I see a typo in my previous comment: I meant to type "LANG=en_US.UTF-8 korganizer" (uppercase "US").
Created attachment 131369 [details] attachment-12782-0.html Same issue with upper case. Typically it's en_CA.UTF-8, but I could live with US. ________________________________ From: bugzilla_noreply@kde.org <bugzilla_noreply@kde.org> Sent: Wednesday, September 2, 2020 10:55 To: davebachmann@hotmail.com <davebachmann@hotmail.com> Subject: [kontact] [Bug 426082] Calendar schedules all appointments full day https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426082 gjditchfield@acm.org changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|WAITINGFORINFO |--- Status|NEEDSINFO |REPORTED --- Comment #3 from gjditchfield@acm.org --- Dang.
