SUMMARY I recently installed the new kdenlive update. Since then the final rendered video has bugs like false transitions, asynchronous video and audio. But in the preview everything is right and even if I render a preview zone, it works. HINT: The bug also occured with friends who also have Windows 10. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install the newest kdenlive update on Windows 10. 2. Edit a video. For example I added the Defish effect on a clip and changed the Amount. (In the render there was no visible effect.) Second example: Cut some Clips with both audio and video in a row! (The audio and video will very soon start to get asynchronous.) 3. Render the Video in any format, for example mp4/webm/mpg. OBSERVED RESULT The rendered video will not be the expected; it will be different from the preview. EXPECTED RESULT The rendered video should be the same as in the preview. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS OS: Windows 10, Version 2004 KDE Plasma Version: <didn't find it> KDE Frameworks Version: 5.71.0 Qt Version: 5.15.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This bug is very urgent to me - and I'm sure, many other kdenlive Windows Users are also wondering about this bug. Best regards - Laqco.
Created attachment 131286 [details] The file is a *video* which should have the Defish effect with manual scaling and some nosync0r effects.
I have this problem too. For now I use version 20.04 to avoid problems such as these listed.
Problem is known: https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues/781. Workaround: before Rendering. Close Kdenlive, switch your system language to English (USA) which has a dot as decimal separator. Restart Kdenlive and render should work.
Will be fixed with 20.08.2.
