sort items: by date
group items: by date

earliest images are from 2018-11-19, latest from today
item sorting order: asc
oldest image of 2018-11-19 is on top

item sorting order: desc
youngest image of 2018-11-19 is on top

EXPECTED RESULT
sorting sorts _all_ images, not just the oldest day

The sorting only affects the group. The grouping in the import view by date, just like the grouping by format, has a fixed sorting. The digiKam main view can also change the sorting for the groups.
