Created attachment 131203 [details] Org files I would like to request that there be an icon for Org files. Other than visual nicety I'd find this particularly helpful as .org files can be exported to a wide range of formats, and result in a large number of files being produced. Not having a distinct icon makes it hard to identify the 'source' .org file in many cases (see attachment). File type: Org-mode (.org) Icon Name: text-org Description: A plain text markup format that's been around for 17 years. Designed in Emacs but there are extensions for many other editors. Webpage: https://orgmode.org/ Original Icon: https://orgmode.org/img/org-mode-unicorn.png On a system with Org registered as a file type, one finds the following (which may be useful) $ gio info -a standard::icon ~/.org/todo.org standard::icon: text-org, text-x-generic, text-org-symbolic, text-x-generic-symbolic $ xdg-mime query filetype ~/.org/todo.org text/org Example implementation: https://github.com/PapirusDevelopmentTeam/papirus-icon-theme/blob/master/Papirus/64x64/mimetypes/text-org.svg

Hi Jens! We don't do patches over Bugzilla anymore. Would you be interested in submitting these icons in a GitLab merge request over at https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/breeze-icons/-/merge_requests/? Here's the documentation: https://community.kde.org/Infrastructure/GitLab I can give you a hand if you run into any hiccups.
Thanks for your effort Jens - it's fantastic to see something actually come of this. Two minor criticisms if you don't mind: - The mane line looks overly jagged to me - The horn seems to thin and spindly Thanks again for your work :)
