STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. attach o detach an usb device


OBSERVED RESULT
the system does't see the device attached or detached

EXPECTED RESULT
the system should notice that an usb device is being attached or detached

this problem arose after upgrading KDE Neon to 20.04.1

usb drives.
I add that the system *often* (not *always*) don't recognize usb drives

I add also that dvd as well are sometimes not recognized.

SOLVED: removed nvidia driver. So it was not a bug! I had removed a grapgica card nvidia geforce, but drivers were still there, and were the cause of the problem.
