Description Jelle Haandrikman 2020-08-25 19:14:44 UTC
SUMMARY
It's not possible to start a new session of switch user via the Application launcher.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Log in to KDE plasma
2. Select launcher -> Leave
3. Normally click on switch user or new session

OBSERVED RESULT
No menu items for 'switch user' or 'new session' available.

If I try to switch via the 'user switcher' widget, then the other sessions are listed but nothing happens. I can start a new session via the user switching widget.
It is possible to switch sessions via loginctl + loginctl activate <Session ID>

However the list of unused sessions grows with each switch in the user switch applet.

EXPECTED RESULT
Menu items for switch user and new session available in the application launcher.
